Double vision

Does anyone else suffer from double vision?  This has been increasing more and more lately.  Sometimes it happens when I am sitting and just move my head slightly - it doesn't have to be quickly.  It happens frequently when I move from lying to sitting, or sitting to standing.  Again, I don't have to move quickly, it just happens.  It's only momentary, and subsides after a minute or so.  Except lately, it is happening more and more frequently and the periods of double vision seem to be getting longer.  I don't have a cold and haven't had one recently, so I don't think it's due to any type of head congestion or sinus irritation. 

Has anyone else experienced this?

My Dad experienced this when he was in hospital, it lasted for a couple of weeks but we never found out what it was, his Hb was very low but I don't know if that was anything to do with it.  He was having so many tests for his heart that he never did get round to telling the Drs about it.  It went away of its own accord, I hope yours does too.

Hey Darling....I wrote a response to this before but it must be in cyberspace somewhere.  I know you have a tendancy towards low blood pressure so are you sure you are not a bit dry.  I was getting double vision and the neph at the hospital told me to start giving myself a little saline before coming off dialysis. She said the double vision is a gentle form of migraine.  Although you get no pain of a headache, she said it is still a form of migraine but it can evolve to a full migraine if you keep being continuously dry.  Getting the symptom when you are rising from a reclined position is a definite sign.  x

Sharon experienced a lot of problems with Double vision about 4 years ago, after a lot of exams and testing they did a biopsy of her temporal arteries and concluded that she had Giant Cell Arteritis, the treatment was heavy doses of Prednisone and it went away and has not been back since, we were glad they found it when they did because it can cause blindness from lack of blood supply to the eyes, so it is not something to be taken lightly........
