I sometimes worry about what people think when I've had to knock heads at times. But, funny thing is, most of the people I worry about aren't there very long anyway. Plus, what a few people who don't even know  you (or care about you) think doesn't even remotely matter when you consider you are fighting for the quality and length of your life (and your family's). You set the expectations surrounding the quality of your care. It all blows over anyway and good relationships form in spite of our human nature at times. You are still a good person. Some will know that and will  also understand what we have to do at times. Consider them fortunate to get to know you!

I knock heads together pretty regularly if I do not like what is going on in a center.  I ask questions and get answers.I write letters to directors.  I want the best care I can get, not care someone just gives me because it is their stupid job.

Thanks  :grouphug;

I must say the new clinic I am at now is like a little slice of heaven.  :flower; It is a little smaller and I get the impression they run a tight ship. Which to me means they do things the correct way. They literally welcomed me with open arms. Even the chairs are nicer! :bandance;
And I realized my new PD nurse and I went to school together.

A wait has been lifted!

Are you ready for this. This past Friday I went in for some labs and my new clinic nurse told me that at my old clinic all the PD patients are going to be moving over to my new clinic. I asked what happened and she said "Oh I guess the nurse over there found a new job or something...I don't really know what happened. But all the PD patients are coming over here."
OK!! Why would thay be moving all the patients if all that happened was the nurse got a new job? I bet that nurse got fired. Why else would they move all the PD patients over?? Wouldn't they just hire a new nurse...especially if she gave 2 weeks notice.
