Getting kicked off
«
on:
March 20, 2009, 10:17:02 AM »
On March 19, 2009 while in chat, the responce time to posting messages was slow, then I was kicked off. I could not sign back in when the screen popped up to sign back in. I had to go back to the main forum page to sign back in. I initially signed in as forever, but was kicked off of chat and signed out of IHD. That never happened before, it was just usually chat, but stayed signed in.
While on Facebook, other members posted that they could not sign into IHD on March 20, 2009.

Sorry Chris, I know it's confusing - I should have been more clear. That link I posted is for members and guests who cannot log in - it is the only spot on IHD where anyone can post, member or not - and it's good to use if you can't actually sign in under your member name.

It may be frustrating, and for this I am sorry but the people are working on the problems as we speak. I tell them every complaint so I'm sure they will want to clear this up asap.

At least they're working on it, more than Microsoft does with on their OS
I noticed something else, but not sure if anyone else has noticed. When you check the most recent replies to post you replied to, at the bottom corner where it ask to mark as read and mark selected read, the button for mark selected read does not display correctly on my end. I get the red x and grey background against the words with no button displayed like in the mark as read on the left of the button.
Shown in picture below.

I keep having problems getting booted and not being able to get back on. Also when I post a reply it will not let me go back to the previous page. I have to go back to the home page and start over. Does that make any sense?

WAW - I am glad to see you are getting on now. When you log in how long do you set the time for? Sluff will advise the software company of your difficulty, thanks.

It still won't let me hit the back button when I post a reply, I have to go to the home button. Am I being to pickey.

I am able to hit the back button - I don't know why you and a few others are having trouble. Maybe there's a common thread somehow? Like same server, or computer type or something?

I'm just taking it in stride, just waiting for it all to be fixed and like it use to be. Waiting is the hard part.

Please let me know if anyone is getting kicked off IHD - or if your time zone is shown wrong, or if you are having any other technical difficulty with IHD. We need to try and wrap up any loose ends and need input please. I have reported the info from a couple of people who let me know of their log-in issues or that the site is slow for them. Anything else please post or PM me as soon as you can.
Thanks,
