Hello All! My name is Vicki and I am the caregiver for my 84 year old Mom. We just went to our first dialysis treatment at the center yesterday. Mom was in the hospital for 30 days and just got out Wednesday. Needless to say I am going to have lots of questions. CKD is new for us. Mom has lots of other problems that are making things more difficult. She has CHF, Diabetes, Heart Valve Failure and Liver problems to name just a few.

I have looked around a little bit but need to spend some time getting to know my way around. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Glad that you found the best site for Dialysis patients and caregivers.
If you cant find the answers by browsing many people here have vast real life experiences in many aspects
of dialysis and other ailments.
I feel bad for you and your mom.  But i am glad you are there for her :thumbup;.
Hope to see you on many of the threads.

Welcome to our community, Vicki!!  This is one of the best things you could have done for your mom (and for yourself)!  This is the place for information, support and even some lighthearted fun at times.  This is much more than a website, as many will tell you - it is a genuine family  :grouphug;  caring and sharing.  We will be with you through the good times and the difficult ones.  Just keep reading and keep posting so that we will know how you mom and you are doing.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
