I am giving you an update on my placement of fistula.  I met my new Nephrologist yesterday, he seemed really caring and  I think things are looking up for me.  I am scheduled for a mapping on Jan 26th and meet my surgeon on February 3rd . we will  have a fistula soon.  I have been so worried  that I miight not get it soon enough.  A chest cath is not what i need . I dont want  dialysis but at least when the time comes  I will be prepared .  Thank You to all that has helped me make up miy mind. It is still scarey, but at least I am not in the dark about ckd. :thx;

Good news Brandy.  Any surgical procedure is not something to look forward to but in this case I really think you've made the wisest decision.

Good decision. You have motivated me to follow in your footsteps. Thanks for sharing and let us know how the fistula placement goes.
