Anybody have a problem with acne. Ive had a problem every since after my first transplant in 1992 when they had me on prednisone. Ive been back on dialysis since 98 and stopped taking prednisone around that time but i still have breakouts. I see a dermatologist and a few treatments have worked for a while but it seems like my skin gets immune to it and it no longer works anymore. My skin is terrible, its either to oily or to dry, and it seems like any lotion I put on my face makes me breakout more.I wonder is it because im on dialysis but i dont see other patients with acne problems

Some blodd pressure meds will cause acne.  Take ALL your meds in to the nurse, and Nephrologist to see if any of them are causing that.  Good Luck!

I have acne.
I feel like I'm way to old to be having it and it only started again after contracting kidney disease.
If you find a secret cure, let us know.
