I had my first IVIG treatment today and I have a question.  I talked to the doctor on-call, but he was not sure.  My problem is my stomach feels extremely full tonight - really uncomfortable.  I didn't feel this way when I left the hospital from treatment, but only after I came home and had a sandwhich.  Could it be all the fluid they pumped into me?  I feel like I'm going to burst!  The doctor told me to take something to make my bowels move, as he thought that might be it.  I'm urinating fine.  No fever.  No nausea, etc.  All my labs and urine test was normal this morning.

Thanks!!!!!!

If you're still taking pain meds they definitely can be constipating.
Be sure your urine output corelates with your fluid intake.
Not sure why IVIG would cause bloating.

I just figured they pumped a bag of fluid into me and maybe it had to redistribute.  I was totally guessing!

It turned out to be bowel related.  heh, heh    :o
