Just out of curiosity i was wondering what you spend your DLA on as i was thinking to myself (i do this a lot!) what would i spend it on if i received DLA.

LOL good question! i dont really know as i dont really recieve any benefits og any kind i dont really tend to strain my brain on it too much, but then again im sure IF i did recieve it, it would certainly help in the long run towards University (currently college) ummm possibly cigarettes and the occasional game that i can actaully beat shades elfen at! e.g. soccer games lol (i always have my butt kicked at dragon ball Z!!!) so yeah! thats pretty much what i would spend it on!

Uninterrupted in-center (self-care) hemodialysis since 1982 -- 34 YEARS on March 3, 2016 !!

No transplant.  Not yet, anyway.  Only decided to be listed on 11/9/06. Inactive at the moment.  ;)
I make films.

Just the facts: 70.0 kgs. (about 154 lbs.)
Treatment: Tue-Thur-Sat   5.5 hours, 2x/wk, 6 hours, 1x/wk
Dialysate flow (Qd)=600;  Blood pump speed(Qb)=315
Fresenius Optiflux-180 filter--without reuse
Fresenius 2008T dialysis machine
My KDOQI Nutrition (+/ -):  2,450 Calories, 84 grams Protein/day.

I think DLA is the UK disability pay.  I think there was another thread about it at some point.

Oh yes dont forget the meds and bus fares to get to appointments and tests and to get to the shops to get the meds! Thankfully I am on free meds til december woohoo!

I wish I got something... my province doesn't have a disability allowance.. I'm on dialysis and blind and still have to work 8 hour days... I have to work another year and a half before I even qualify for a disabilty pension...

Go on welfare... it's the only thing you can do if you've nothing else to go on... it's why most dialysis centres have social workers....
