NaphCare scores contract with Mass. prison
Birmingham Business Journal - by Jimmy DeButts Staff
Birmingham-based prison health care provider NaphCare recently received a renewed contract worth up to $21 million for dialysis work for a prison system in Massachusetts.
The contract with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Medical Center in Devens, Mass., is worth $21 million if renewed for five years.
NaphCare has been providing services for 120 inmates since the dialysis unit opened in March 2000. The new contract is for one year with four optional renewal periods.
NaphCare provides on-site dialysis to inmates with end-stage renal disease.
