In the last 20 mins or so, I started feeling lightheaded... I checked my bp.. as I've had both high and low bp in the past.. I know how it feels... but it was 126/80... so that's not it... I was thinking, especially with the heat in the last little while, that it might be dehydration.. I tried to take a shower.. that's what started it.. anyone got any ideas?
btw.. my bro is with me, so I'm not alone.. if it gets really bad, we're 5 mins away from closest hospital...

If it started with the shower maybe u took a very cold shower maybe too cold?
Anyways I get lightheaded too so I lay somewhere and put my legs up drink something and then it goes away!

Have you had anything to eat today? Sometimes that could do it too. Do you have diabetes? I am glad you are not alone, please let us know how and what you are feeling. I will be in the chatroom if you need or want to chat....

It started before I got in the shower.. thought it might have been the steam.. so turned the heat down a bit... didn't help any... and continued after the water was turned off....

My BP has been so low lately that I have beenso dizzy on non-dialysis days. I stand up and my vision goes black. My BP is 89/65 so I know for me that is why. I have refused to take my BP meds for over a week now because of this. But in your case it obviously is NOT BP related. Maybe call the doctor up and ask what you should do? I don't know how things are where you are but where I am from I can do that. Not saying I can actually get a hold of him however ... I usually call my dialysis unit (they were the ones who gave me permission to stop my BP meds).

yeah.. that's usually what I do too... I talk to him a heck of a lot more than I do my doctor...
