I know I'm not supposed to put a link, but this will be short lived anyway.
DaVita sent out this email to Kidney Care asking us to support Congress to pass a bill.

I may agree with the support for longer lived transplant drugs, but I am opposed to having dialysis cost more when the CEO of DaVita makes millions off sick people. That is sick and wrong!
Medicare is going to go broke over dialysis! These huge "for profit" centers need to cut the greed factor and chill out. This idea of making more profit at some point has to stop.
I for one will not ask congress to support this bill.

Give 'em hell, Rerun
Yesterday was our first day under Davita rule and I'm really concerned about what is in store for us.
-
What do you mean "DaVita Rule". I don't go to a DaVita clinic anymore. I just continue to get their crap through email.
???

Davita bought out my clinic. They took over yesterday.

They want more money even after making millions? Oh man, that's great. What's next, refusing to train techs because it costs? Getting illegal aliens to dialyze patients for 2 bucks an hour? This shit has gotta stop...now.

I'm with you Darla. It is ridiculous that a private company like Davita makes so much money on a publicly funded medical treatment. I really don't understand how they get away with it.
I would rather see Congress use money on encouraging people to become donors. I get Davita's crap via e-mail and snail mail and if they cared as much as they say they do about their patients they would have information about transplants in their propaganda.
