So yesterday I had my line inserted into my internal jugular. All went well although I find it a bit uncomfortable as if it's tugging on my neck and chest. I was told it would be a little sore for three days. Not taking pain meds so it's not horrific. Of course it lies right on top of my right breast so with my bra on I look as though I have a half a banana laying on top of it. At the moment it's wrapped in gauze.
I was asked if I wanted to start dialysis this evening but I chose to wait until Tuesday so I'd be less sore. I'll begin at the hospital then move to the self-care centre near my house.
