Title: When to worry about a soar throat?
Post by: alrightstill on May 07, 2008, 10:38:34 PM
It seems for about a week now (on and off) the back of my throat has been extremely soar.  I'm not coughing or anything -- and no fever, but its that feeling you get when you feel like you're about to get sick.  Almost like a lump is in the back of my throat --- but not.

Is this something I should bring to the docs attention or just let it ride out and see what happens.  Not sure what else it could be.. though I keep telling myself it's probably nothing serious.  I suppose one can never be too sure though, right?

I just feel that they'll probably say "take some robitussin dm and call us if it gets worse or you get a fever".

PS >>  Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section!

I wouldnt think a sore throat was anything to do with dialysis so why not get your g.p. to check it out ?

alrightstill, your profile says your on the east coast. We have so much pollen right now. My throat stays sore. Try some allergy medicine if you can.  :cuddle;
