This surgeon did my third transplant which was the one that eventually had to be removed. He tried like hell to save that one for me but once it became infected it had to be taken out! He repaired two hernias in me too and has done numerous other stuff. My nephrologist had the ER call his because as he put it, "He knows everything that's in my abdomen."
Anyway, he said there was no reason that I couldn't have another one. Provided of course, I get all necessary tests done and they all look good. Mainly my heart and then they'd need to check out my bladder and that there is a place to put a kidney. He suggested I exercise to get my heart in shape. I told him I was exercising regularly before I the surgery. And I'll get back to it when I'm healed. I have been using my dumbbells though. I use those during commercials!
I told him I still wasn't sure I wanted one and he said to just let him know when I do! I mean I've had 4 kidney transplants already but I realized recently, I don't wanna spend the rest of my life on dialysis! I thought for sure he was gonna say I couldn't have anymore. I was wrong, but this is something I don't mind being wrong abt! lol

That's your decision to make Krisna, whatever you decide I wish you the best.
Just curious about what all you have in your abdomen, I guess as long as it isn't a small village you should be good. :rofl; (that was supposed to be funny)

No, it's more like I forgot part of what I was going to write! I'll fix it! But, I went to see him abt my incision because he was one of the surgeons who originally consulted with the general surgeon when I was admitted on April 17th. So, that was what the reference to my abdomen had to do with it!
Can you say, "This is your brain on pain killers! And also on lack of sleep!" :Kit n Stik;
That's why people should proofread their posts before posting them! :rofl; :rofl; I'll go fix it! I copied and pasted it but I think I just didn't copy the whole thing. :rofl;
