Title: What does the future of dialysis hold?

If you're interested in some technical advances we may see sooner rather than later take a look at this section of my blog

the post I like the most is this one: Dialysis: a future with nanotechnology

The discussion is about a video available on the internet - watch the video of the presentation and then see if my post helps to explain it - I think this is very exciting and seems very doable.  The whole five part video series is worth watching - I describe each video in its own post if you scroll through the first link.

I just gave a presentation in Cleveland (The Northwest Kidney Centers story), at lunch we were discussing hemodiafiltration which I recently posted about in regard to some very exciting results in kids on dialysis.

One of the docs thought that hemodiafiltration would be the next advance that we see in the units.
