How many people are more 'in tune' with their bodies since being diagnosed ? For the last couple of days my energy levels have been pretty good , then yesterday i got up and felt i wanted to sleep most of the day (i nearly did) but i just knew when i got up i didnt feel right, then at the end of the night i started being sick. Today i got up and all is good again , but i just know when something is not quite right nowadays !

Same here, onr minute its one thing and the next another. With me I can have a burst of energy one minute and feel tired the next, and then I catch a second wind. It can get crazy.

Yes I know what you mean Kickstart. You get very concious of feeling off colour even if it's only slightly and although it usually turns out to be something minor you can't help but worry that it is the next irreversible phase of kidney failure. One of the odd things is that when I don't sleep well at night I don't seem to feel tired during the day and find it just as difficult to get to sleep the following night. And then again there are times when I sleep well at night and then also have a nap during the day. Wierd.

It's not a matter of "been there". It's more like "am there"! Thanks for bringing this up. If you asked for a show of hands, here's another!

ohhhh man...every twinge, every pop, every throb...I assume the worst, always...and it's tiresome...

Count me in.
If I over-exert myself in any way, I pay for it later.
Part of what I have been forced to learn, is not to over-exert myself.
Some days I do almost nothing in order to recover from over doing physical activity earlier in the week.
I know I've done too much when I get that "flue" sort of aching throughout my body.

I've always been in tune with my body. There have been times that I've ignored how badly I felt and payed the price.
