Title: Patients meeting sponsor by RSN?
Post by: st789 on August 05, 2007, 06:19:31 PM
Have anyone attended one of this event sponsor by Renal Support Network?  Listed the dates of event at www.rsnhope.org. I like to attend one of the  3 events in California (Riverside, Torrance, Huntington Beach).

What do I need to bring to the event to get the most out of it?  What about RSN can provide transportation?  Any feedbacks would be greatly appreciate.

You provide your own transportation, the classes are free. The Patient Training Leadership in Huntington Beach has a fee. The smaller classes are free to patients and a guest.  To find out more or to register contact RSNhope.org.  I already beat you to notification of the meetings on the board. Follow this link to more information and a discussion.  I have always enjoyed the meetings and gotten a lot of new information from it.  A free meal was great, too.

When Jenna first started dialysis Lori Hartwell invited us to one of these conferences. It was small but the speaker's were excellent.
I plan to attend the RSN event coming up in Huntington Beach. It is September 27 - 29, 2007 called “Health, Happiness & Hope!”
This year’s RSN National Patient Meeting is specifically geared to those
with kidney disease who have a desire to become better advocates and
more effective leaders for themselves and others. Workshops are designed
to equip you to go back to your communities and make a difference! In
addition, you will have the opportunity to visit the exhibits at the NRAA
meeting and see the latest healthcare advancements.
