Title: When should I have a medical test done?

Hey everybody,
I'm scheduled to have an Endoscopy done on a Wednesday morning before dialysis. I was wondering should I have it changed to a non dialysis day like a Tuesday or Thursday or does it really matter?

I'm always a little tired from the twilight sleep meds, but fine otherwise.  I would probably choose a non-dialysis day given the choice though.

I've found that I prefer any test or procedure done with sedatives or anesthetic right before dialysis.  That way, the meds are filtered out out of my system immediately.  I don't like spending the rest of the day in a groggy mess because my kidneys can't filter out the meds.

I save Wednesdays (no dialysis, no work) for any appointments I might have.
