Here is a poem i wrote about the nurses and techs that take care of us. I call it nurses. They posted it on their board and it was seen by some one at fersinius. I was told by the charge nurse that he e-mailed it to many of the centers around the U.S.A. I hope you all can relate. Thanks for the love and the care that you give. If it wasn't for you all i don't know if i could live. You're ever so careful with the tubes in my chest. My blood pressure and temp. you take care of the rest. You check my weight, hope i didn't gain much. push buttons on the machine. You have a gentile touch. Ask the same questions make sure i don't bleed. "Are you comfortable now, anything else you need?" You check on me often ask if I'm OK. Sometimes you can chat too bad you can't stay. You make the four hours go by real fast. Thank God it's not more, don't think i could last. You wrap up my tubes for my time is near. Don't take this wrong, "I just want outta here!" Thank you my friends for your special TLC. For without your loving care i don't know how i would be. Keith.

As a dialysis nurse with 6 years experience (5 1/2 years in a clinic, now in a hospital/acutes), I'm very touched by the beautiful poem you wrote.
Thank you so much!
