Title: Trust No One
Post by: Simon Dog on June 07, 2022, 02:23:32 PM
I am shitpissed at the moment.

My wife has Covid (confirmed).   My PCR results came back negative today.

About 10 days ago I met with a woman I know and her friend with GFR 16 who recently learned she needs a xplant.  I spent 3 hours with them and my wife at our unit in the building (small 500 sq ft weekend condo) discussing dialysis, transplant. things to ask her MD, how different UNOS regions impact the waitlist issue and why going to the next state over can save her years of wait time, what KDPI is and how to use it, etc.    Then, I spent a bunch of time in the non-renal woman's apartment hanging a very large picture.  It was a two person job so we worked in close proximity.

So, my wife texts the woman who brought her friend to warn her she found out she had the plague, and hears "Oh yeah, we we got back from our Ireland trip a couple of weeks ago we did a home Covid test and found we were both positive, sorry I forgot to mention that".  WTF? :puke;

If you mother tells you she loves you, check it out and look for confirming evidence.

I'm so sorry. I don't understand people. Sending you both the best.

Hello Simon, I am very sorry for you and your wife to go through this most horrific experience  ... and please check-up, together with your wife with doctors/specialists/nurses to make sure you both receive the best medical care.
Thinking of you both and sending my best wishes, Kristina. :grouphug;

Simon Dog I'm so sorry about that.

I've always wondered if people will be criminally charged for knowingly spreading COVID.  There was a case in my area where a person was criminally charged for knowingly spreading HIV but I've forgotten the outcome - something like this: https://www.nytimes.com/2006/07/04/health/04suit.html
