It's all just so hideously unfair.  This made me cry.

So painful to read. There are too many of these niches of hell--dialysis centers, prisons, nursing homes, to name a few--where people are completely vulnerable to whatever predator comes along. This is not right.

The part about home dialysis had me remembering a friend of mine who I spoke often to and testified in front of the US Senate more than twenty years ago: Dr. Kenneth Bays (https://dialysisethics2.org/index.php/testimonals/12-de-testimonals/11-dr-bays-u-s-senate-testimony).  (Rest in Peace Brother)

I can only wondering how many lives could have been saved if we had a system like Australia and New Zealand's (https://homedialysis.org/news-and-research/blog/165-the-success-of-home-dialysis-in-australia-and-new-zealand).

Excuse me now, I need to do some wailing.
