Title: Australia - On HD and wanting to claim early Super, TPD and income protection
Post by: Garrett on November 06, 2019, 06:55:56 PM
Hi Guys

I have been on and off dialysis for the past 30 years, had 2 transplants and now waiting for my 3rd. I work full time and am wanting to retire early  - early 50's

Have you guys (In Aus) had any experiences with claiming your super before your retirement age? this also includes TPD (total and permanent disability) and income protection insurance

My Neph has agreed to write a letter supporting my claim and my financial advisor said I need a letter from x 2 Dr's.

Would love to hear what challenges you have faced any advice would be appreciated.

thanks

Hello Garrett and welcome to IHD,

As I have mentioned in my personal letter to you yesterday, I am having a problem, if you take on the avatar of IHD-member Razman from Toronto/Canada, who joined IHD in November 2006.
Our member Razman is a very valid member here on IHD and he very much cheered me up when I had to face dialysis-treatments in November 2014.
Razman then wrote to me saying : Wish you all the best. You have put up a great battle .  You have not lost the war , you're just going to fight it another way so don't give up.   :grouphug;
I value Razman's thoughts and his membership very much and because of that I can only associate his avatar with him and it does not seem right to me that someone else takes his avatar, almost, as if he never existed. That appears not to be fair to Razman.
Please let us be fair to Razman's joice of avatar and please use your own choice of your own personal avatar.
Many thanks for your kind understanding from Kristina. :grouphug;
