Have you heard anymore about the HR 5659 Act ESRD Choice Act where they are going to make it mandatory for MAP (Medicare Advantage Plans) to cover ESRD? I heard it would be effective 2021. Has anyone heard of this lately?

I realize sometimes it's better to go Supplemental Plan rather than MAP but I received a MAP letter from my drug plan but as soon as I told her I was ESRD, the conversation was OVER!  ???

Same here. They called selling the Medicare Advantage Plans and as soon as I mentioned dialysis, the guy wished me well and said we can't cover you. The people at the transplant center also recommended against anything other than traditional Medicare.
