Like I said with the WAK, I'm hopeful that we'll get access to the recycled dialysate process they're using.  The 30 liters are the heaviest part of my ball & chain (though I not a fan of lugging the cycler, either).

Fresenius was working on their PAK which was a recycled dialysate process portable home system.  I believe they bought out a company that had developed the technology.  This was pre NxStage acquisition and never seemed to go anywhere, though I believe there were some trials down under.

Now, if they could only figure out how to do Hemo without poking us with locomotive-sized needles (other than catheter).  Then I'll get excited.  Until then, I'll keep my powder dry.
