Has anyone here taken vitamin k2 or heard anything about it?I had a person telling me there are alot of studies on people on dialysis and k2 and was just wondering what others think

I was on K2 when my cardiologist saw I was on Calcium Acetate. He said it was good for the bones.
The xplant team d/c'ed it. Will ask the cardiologist (a different one now) when I see him

Here's an article:

Your nutritionist should be able to help you learn if its appropriate for you. The US National Kidney Foundation has continuing education classes on the subject so it likely means the use is legitimate for some dialysis patients:

(I'm always a tad skeptical of people promoting vitamins for complex problems. But that's not to say its not beneficial as part of the broad treatment plan.)
