So, I have asked my family to be tested to see who are viable as donors. They completed all the forms, all of the doctors requests and contacted the donor administrator to make sure they are added. They had sent in all their data and tests and 3 months later, they all received letters stating the candidate, me, is not registered and their info will either be destroyed, or moved over to general donation list. WTF? I have been on the list since January, and completed all tests for the markers for the donors. Now I find out all the donors are no longer allowed because someone could not read English and check the name. My doctor is trying to find out what the F*%CK happened and how are they going to fix it.

:thumbdown; :thumbdown; :thumbdown; :thumbdown; I feel sorry for you. I'm on the transplant list for my hospital, but I haven't heard anything for months. I took a blood test today, and transplant wanted another test just for them. I'd really like to get a good transplant, but I fear the drugs that suppress the immune system will open the door for some disease. I only have six years of dialysis, and the wait time is ten years for my blood type, so I'll worry about it when they call.
