Title: Fresenius Billing

Got a bill from Fresenius this week. They want $640 for the month of Feb. 2017. They can't tell me why this bill didn't show on the bills that came in Apr or Jun or Aug before my out of pocket was met.
I'm trying to budget to pay the $6500 out of pocket for 2018 and get hit with this bill from almost a year ago.
My wife got a bill last week for $270 from an eye surgery in Dec. 2016. She has the cancelled check where she paid it at time of service. She called the Dr office, the girl giggled and said "Oh, never mind, just disregard the bill." Seems they are "fishing" or grossly incompetent. I think there are many "fishing" bills sent at the end of the year. If a small percentage pay that's a lot of money.

What really frosted my gonads was the call from Fresnenius billing "Fresenius billing here, please wait for the next available representative" followed by hold music.   When the call me, I will probably tell them "Please hold, estimated wait time is 23 minutes".
