Title: Gramwhich
Post by: angela515 on April 22, 2007, 05:03:23 PM
This is very yummy, and tastes like an ice cream sandwhich. It is my alternative to an ice cream sandwhich and its like 95 calories.

Take a Graham cracker sheet, break it in half.
Take 2 Tbsp of your favorite Flaor Light yogurt, put it in a bowl. Mix it with 1 tbsp Cool Whip lite.
Spread the mi on the Graham cracker then put the other top of the cracker on top.
Place it in a container and put it in the freezer.
Once frozen, eat and enjoy.

Mmmmmmmmm, Delicious!c :2thumbsup;

That does sound good Angela, but dont forget most of us cannot have the dairy that is in the yogurt. :(  How high in phosphorus is that?   :P

You can easily have it with your binders if your watching how much phoshorus your consuming in a day.. it's just a matter of fitting it in your diet.

 CHOOSE A FLAVOR Fruit Flavors Indulgent Flavors  Serving Size: 6 oz / 170g
Calories: 100

Flavors: Apple Turnover, Apricot Mango, Berries 'n Cream, Blackberry, Blueberry Patch, Very Cherry, Key Lime Pie, Harvest Peach, Red Raspberry, Orange Crème, Strawberry, Strawberries 'n Bananas, Strawberry Orange Sunrise, White Chocolate Strawberry

Those numbers are for the whole 6 ounce container, which is 12 tablespoons. The recipe is for 2 tablespoons, so whoever is a math wiz can prolly figure out how much potassium and phos are in the 2 tablespoons...

Plus, what I see alot of people posting on "What's for supper", this can easily be fit in  :P

Roughly 42 mg K per two tablespoons.

Might mention that different yogurts have different levels of K, so if one is really strict on their K they could opt for one of the lower K yogurt brands.

This might be a place to put this.  Rice Dream..... the milk substitute now has Rice Dream the Ice Cream substitute.  OMG it is good.  They have lots of flavors.  I like the Vanilla and the mint carob chip.  Put that between two Graham Crackers and BITE.

My little nephew calls them "Graham Crappers"
