Yup as no urine test poss they wanted me to 'just fill my bladder' they'll do a scan. People really can make you tired sometimes. It could be a UTI.

How do you fill your bladder with no kidney function?

I have that urge to pee sometimes.  It's not painful, just a bit annoying.  I take it as my bladder letting me know that it's still there

I still produce a little daily but this poses an interesting question.

How would they test for a UTI?  If no urine?

Being a 'Guy' I fear the answer.  The only time I know I've had that kind of cath was while they had me knocked smooth out.

I havr had a catheter before when I Had my first transplant realllllly not fun at all and very uncomfortable. I dont want that. I do plan on telling my surgeon way in the future that if I gget a transplant i dont want a catheter again. Let see how that goes.

I constantly feel like I have to urinate and like you I no longer produce urine. When I feel like this I go sit on the toilet and it passed. Weird I know.

Being on dialysis does not mean no urine production.  For me it meant s high creatinine level.  For my first 4 years on Dialysys what I drank I eliminated the old fashioned way.  Last year  had a heart attack and 3 cardiac surgeries the result being my out put was cut in half. I now take lasix which ups my output to about  75 percent  of my preheat attack level.
