Hi all,
So these past few weeks ive been fluid overloaded Im sure Ive mentioned it in my last posts. We havent been able to remove all my fluid at once so I was asked to come in for an extra treatment this past Friday. I made it to my dry weight. Friday I felt normal the regular really dizzy somewhat dehydrated. So i had three treatments in a row. Today I feel awful treatment went well I slept well. By the time I got home I felt extremely dizzy to the point i felt like I was going to blackout. Like when I wpuld get up I had to quickly close my eyes and sit down because I was dizzy. My eyes are suken in and I can barely speak and not to mention Im sittinf down and so oit of breath. I feel I am at my dry weight if I go any higher I can really feel swelling in my hands so its hard to determine why I feel like this. Usually on dialysis days after I nap i look somewhat better and feel better but not today :/ my bp today were running in 70/42s. Always feeling sleepy nowadays. Also sorry if this tmi but my stomach has been feeling off and I have to rush to bathroom. The feeling of diarrhea. I know that isnt good because I could get more dehydrated. What should I do? Also keep in mind its the weekend and my next treatment is tuesday. ???

Dry weight is the curse of my life. Too many factors need to be considered. Are you consipated. Have you gained weight. Did you eat before dialysis. Are the clothes you are wearing heavier than normal. Did you remove your shoes. Did you empty your pockets. Any of these things screw up your dry weight. If any of these are true going to your dry weight is going to leave you feeling like the crud on the bottom of your shoes. In my case I stop fluid removal if either BP number is lower than 110/50. The other problem is that you can loose weight and not remove enough fluid.

I'm so sorry you feel so terrible. That blood pressure is too low and all those symptoms corroborate with that. I think they need to increase your dry weight and tolerate puffy hands- that has to be better than how you are feeling.

Hello AaishaDar,
Please ask your doctor about it.
I felt very similar at one point and it was connected to my urgent need of iron-infusions and after a few iron-infusions I felt much better again.
Best wishes and good luck from Kristina. :grouphug;
