Anyone dialyze in Costa Rica? What was your experience? I tried googling and did not come up with info.

I wasn't on dialysis when I was in Costa Rica. I went there several years ago to have major dental work done that I couldn't afford to do in the US. I was very impressed with their medical infrastructure and approach. And prices! It's a major destination for medical travel so I would assume they do dialysis OK too. But I dont' know that directly. Nice country. I considered moving there at one point.

We enjoyed Costa Rica prior to dialysis. I'd recommend it but you may be anchored to San Jose for dialysis. But you can still do good day trips to La Fortuna and other locations.

usually I search for "Holiday Dialysis" and the country. The holiday dialysis term seems to be more UK speak but it works....
I also search on http://www.globaldialysis.com/search-for-dialysis-centres.html but they only list Clinica Biblica which is at the first link.
The "List" publication from 2011 lists:
Francisco Jose Mora - Palma
