I've been overdosed it seems with iron infusions and excess Aranesp/EPO injections to treat what was largely a excessive heavy menstrual bleeding disorder in the past. Well the latter problem has been fixed through recent surgery and I now find myself with a very high level of transferrin saturation level of 60%. In April, it was 45%. My ferritin iron store level is mid-range of normal. My second Neph was always sceptical of the use of Aranesp by my primary Neph in acute bleeding episodes that I've had recently - so I guess this is proof. I hope this will quickly rectify itself and that there won't be any adverse consequences.
My Haemoglobin is now at 12.7. Woohoo!

Well that certainly gives my self image a boost. Yes, I am now Iron Woman! :rofl; :rofl; It could be why I was able to do 20 push-ups in my exercise routine today with relative ease! Thanks Jean :beer1;
