Title: Good things
Post by: kitkatz on May 30, 2015, 06:46:36 PM
Nocturnal dialysis is going much better since the doctor prescribed Ambien for panic attacks at 11pm.  I take it around 6:45 and by 11 I am pretty calm. I was having quiet panic attacks, then bitching at everyone at 2a.m when they took me off the machine.  Going well.

I bought a used car, new to me.  Toyota Yaris blue/green color 30,000 miles on it 2012.

I upgraded my Iphone today.

I also went to the Rialto Library orientation session today.  Only one who showed up. So got personalized training.  She is glad to have older person and retired teacher on volunteer staff.  I start Tuesday at 1-3. I told her I realize I am older than dirt  but I want to volunteer.  Great!  She seemed to appreciate my willingness to learn quickly.

I am working out at the gym three days a week now for an hour or so with my sister.  I have lost in two years from a top weight of 256lbs to 193 lbs as of Thursday.  63 pounds.

Pic #1 New car pic.  2012 Yaris 2 door.  Named it Freedom 17.
Pic #2 and 3 Victor and I in front of the Rialto Library.

Glad you are making positive changes. It helps when you dont have to work and you have time enough to really think, doesn't it?

Too much time on your hands too is sometimes not so good, for making your thoughts go round and round.
Being busy and focused on other stuff helps.

Love the pictures kitkatz, especially the "bicycle" :) Looking good  :cuddle;

I am very happy that things seem to have turned a corner for you.

I admire anyone who can lose that much weight.  It takes real discipline and dedication.  Well done you!

Is that car big enough to do some hanky-panky in the back seat?
I was at 258lbs and am down to 225lbs.  Do you have a donut I can have?

Whoa, lady! When you say you are going to do something, you do it BIG! Must've caught your second wind, hope it just gets better and better. And yes, being a retired teacher they struck gold.
