I haven't tried it yet. >:D

We have to use Oil of Olay body wash for extra dry skin (I think it has shea butter in it) otherwise Joe's skin gets really dry and itchy. It's good stuff. For lotion, Palmer's Cocoa Butter is the best.

That stuff is the BEST! I had dry cracked hands until I used this. It's worth the price for the results. :thumbup; :thumbup;

The best advice for dry skin is not to over wash, ( i use to have 3 showers a day) and use soap substitutes! Such as oatmeal lotions. And also use some sort of oil in the bath or shower.
My skin is always dry, I'm the moisturizer queen. lol i am always applying it like 4 times a day!
Here are some tips for natural remedies for a dry Skin.
DRY SKIN
Tips 1: Should use scrubs to remove the dry scaly skin. Apply ½ tsp of Vitamin E oil with 2-3 drops of lime juice and ½ tsp of glycerin.
Tips 2: Apply a mixture of 1 tsp warm Olive oil with a few drops of glycerin and 2-3 drops of lime juice.
Tips 3: 1 tsp of milk cream with2-3 drops of lime juice mixed well. This should be applied 10 minutes before a bath. It reduces the dryness and also is good when applied in Winter.
Tips 4: Plain, whole milk, applied and left on for 10 minutes and washed with cold water helps.
This should be done twice a day.

LOL goofynina!
I use Mary Kay's Extra Emmolient Night Cream... it is kinda greasy but that is okay with me... works wonders.
I will try some of what yall suggested tho.
Great Post! :2thumbsup;

I use the Mary Kay Night Cream also, for years. My kids use to call it Mom's magic pink cream. It works wonders on elbows, chapped lips - and my hands that I wash probably 20 times a day (work with kids).
-
My wife really like the Burt's Beeswax line of products. I know you can buy them at Walgreens but not sure where else. I think some of them are a bit greasy, but they work wonders and smell good enough to eat.

cocoa butter is very nice, but unless they have changed it recently you smell like a hershey bar!!!!

Suave shampoo is great, I use the clarifying formula once a week and the shampoo for normal hair every day. White Rain has a good shampoo also. I used to buy the expensive shampoos but I don't anymore. Suave has many different formulations for all types of hair. I like it. :2thumbsup;

Hot oil treatments - I usually need one after the horrible winter weather here. The house is always dry, and I tend to sit directly in front of the heater a lot to stay warm, so my hair gets pretty crunchy.
-
Especially after adding a little color to her hair my wife uses placenta enriched shampoos. I thinks thats pretty gross myself, but she likes the way it works.
-
My niece is a hairdresser she told me that clarifying shampoo is the best for people with health problems and take alot of medicine and chemicals that can strip ones hair during dyalisis. thanks for bringing that up Meadow :thumbup; Kelley PS... i realy love the Sauve clarifying shampoo and conditioner Garnier is also one of my favs :clap;

I am sensitive to everything and have tried a variety of shampoos. I am using something called Samy now and it seems to do the job for me.

My best advice for good skin is usually lots of water, but that's out now. >:(
The best body moisturizer I've found is Oil of Olay Body Quench. I hate hate hate the smell :P of it, but slathering it on after a shower has given me baby soft skin.
My most favorite moisturizer though is Kerasal. I rub a little on my heals and other dry areas of my feet everyday and it keeps my feet callus free. I don't even need the pumice during pedicures anymore.
I'm sooooo tired of my hair. I've been growing it to give to Locks of Love, but it's become a static mess lately. Countdown to the day this mess is long enough to donate. :2thumbsup;
