One needs to establish a dry weight to effectively get dialysis done.
So at the dialysis center, one needs to be on their toes, regards the items in pockets and clothing worn.
I wear the same type clothes and shoes each dialysis day.
Pockets are emptied , to ensure the scale shows the lowest weight possable.
Also weigh myself each dialysis day on our home scale, to get and idea of what to look for when 'weighing' in at the center.
Have weighed the various sets of clothes and shoes, to see how big a variance there is between sets.
Did find that even after a 'good' dialysis day, were times I would weigh more after the supper meal, then I did at the center. before dialysis.
So started weighing myself on the off days, early in the morning, this seems to give more of a 'true' weight.
My 'true' weight, plus shoes and clothes are compared with the 'at home' weights and the 'centers' showing'
that is now my 'dry weight' setting.
