Title: Greetings my fellow compatriots.
Post by: rayray73 on March 08, 2014, 04:48:51 PM
My name is Raymond and I've been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease at the age of 20. It was on January 2011. The joint on my left big toe was swollen, which eventually lead to my entire foot in pain. It was too painful to even put on socks. One evening, a doctor came to my house at about 10 pm randomly, to do further examination after recent blood tests. He told me I needed to be admitted into the general hospital, so I packed my bags then went there.

After 5 days of being in the hospital, I was told by another doctor that I have chronic kidney disease. I don't think he even knows the reason why. I'm the first person ever from both side of the family to have kidney problems. After I received the news, I thought my doom was coming.....but yeah, that's a cliff note of me.

Hello Raymond...
I am not surprised that you thought it was all doom and gloom when you were told of your kidney condition...

I felt exactly the same when I was told in 1971 that I am in ESRF at the age of 17, after I was brought to hospital in a come because of my ESRF....

... fortunately my "two little fighters" are still with me all these years later..... admittedly I took great care of my "two little fighters"....

... so they are still with me.... hopefully for a little longer....

I just say this because it may not all be doom and gloom..... there may be a chance that your two little fighters may pick up again....

1best wishes and food luck  from Kristina...
