Title: Email in profile

I just received a direct email from a new member and I do not want that. I checked my profile and it shows my email address and I can't figure out how to remove it. HELP!

Same here.  I thought I had allowed to receive announcements and site news by email, so my email address is shown in my profile, but that doesn't mean I want to receive emails from members.  What do we do?

Go into your Profile
Click account settings under modify profile
Under the email tab: uncheck the box that says allow members to email me.

I think that may do it but not sure.

You may have to go into your personal email at home and block this unwanted person.

Thanks for the help! It seems weird to me. I replied to a newbie and instead of replying in the thread I got this email. I will change my profile and not reply to the email.
