Title: Pleasant surprise
Post by: doberose on July 25, 2013, 04:22:33 PM
While ICH today, I had a very pleasant surprise.
Zach, a long time member of IHD, stopped by my chair, introduced himself, and we had a very nice chat before he started ICH.
I was very thankful for some of the advice he gave me (I'm fairly new to HD).
I encourage all IHD members at a particular center to meet and introduce themselves.
Thanks Zach.

I'm glad we had a chance to chat, too.
It's always nice to meet the person behind the avatar!

Lucky you!!! You have a guy who has stayed alive against many odds and knows more than most of the drs. do. And I don't think he charges for information.

This is wonderful.  Zach is close to a kidney God in my book.  He has helped so many of us through the years.  I would love to meet him one day.  What a kind thing for him to do.  And he knows more about this stuff than anyone.   :2thumbsup;
