Next week, I am going on a camping trip with my husband's family. Most everyone will be staying in tents, but my husband and I bought a small camper last year. It will be our first time using it so I'm looking for some advice:
Has any done NxStage in a camper? Besides my normal dialysis supplies, is there anything that I need or would be greatly helpful that I might not think of? We will have electric and water (using premixed bags, of course) and can dump our tanks.
I'm making lots of lists and checking them twice, but I'm scared I'm going to miss something very important.

Oh wow Katie, can we go with you guys? All you need is electricity from a true power source. Carry an extension cord and plug into a 110 outlet, and you will be good to go. When we went to Florida in 2011, we stayed in a trailor like home that had a power source. It was dedicated, so no voltage or wattage problems, like plug in your home.
Other than hanging bags of course, just carry the supplies needed with a few extra's in case. Enjoy yall. You are going to have a blast. :bandance; :bandance; :yahoo; :yahoo;
Give us an update on your adventure. You guys deserve this get away!!! :wine;
God Bless,

Katie, we went camping many times in a little hybrid. What we did is run a line straight to a blue thunder tank. That made it easy to empty after treatment was done. On our first trip we forgot a tourniquet and had to improvise! :urcrazy;
We found that the placement of the NxStage and the POLE was a bit tricky. Over time we worked out the best logistics and spent up to a week camping. That is the beauty of NxStage.
Have a great time.
