We had pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, salad with tomatoes from our garden and baked beans.
Jenna reminded me that she likes "red, white and blue shortcake" so I mixed strawberries and blue berries with a little sugar to make syrup. Poured it on pound cake and topped with whipped cream!
Jenna's sister Rebecca left for 9 months in Australia. It's hard for me to let go, but she's finished college and is 23 years old. She's ready for an adventure!
Walked to the Rose Bowl for fireworks, great show on a cool summer night.
