Title: Buddy/Ignore List?
Post by: cariad on May 03, 2013, 04:50:57 AM: Maybe I'm just ridiculously unobservant, but has there always been a buddy list and an ignore list? If I put someone on one of these lists, what exactly would that mean in terms of interacting with them on the forum or by PM?

In other news, I finally found where to change my time zone so I no longer have to translate the time stamp into British Summer/Greenwich Mean as the case may be. :cheer:

On other systems, buddy lists are often used to notify you when your buddies are online, so it is easier to chat or something similar. But I haven't ever seen anyone in the chat system so if the buddy list has an effect there, no way to know.

It would be great if it could notify people when their friends are in chat. Years ago we could see exactly who, if anyone, was in chat. That feature doesn't seem to be working, but if the buddy list could substitute, that would be great.

I assume ignore means that they cannot contact you via PM or email.
