Hello all,
hope you are all doing well.
i am back with another question. recently, i have noticed a little bit of puffiness under my eyes. something like the photos of the girl at this link (just randomly googled puffiness under eyes)
http://www.realself.com/question/puffiness-eyes-treatment-photo-included
now her problem is obviously totally different than us ESRD folks. anyone ever encounter anything like this? don't know if this makes any difference but i have lost 22 pounds since my decline started, all muscle wastage. and i have lost weight equally all over the body, face included. but i have just started noticing this puffiness over the past couple of weeks or so. it could have been there and i may have just seen it.
any tips/advice/suggestions/experiences are greatly appreciated in advance as usual.
Hope you are all doing great and keep on doing great forever.

my doctor told me its from dehydration or lack of protein. Its one of many problems esrd patients have. Everyone at my clinic has it. Im 23 turning 24 in a couple of days and i have that even with 10 hours of sleep.

thanks for the response Capncrunch.
first of all. HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN ADVANCE!!! :bandance; :bestwishes; :beer1;
dehydration was one of the possible answers i had come up with. didn't know about the protein. good to know. i guess there is nothing we can do about it. another thing totally out of our control. man, is there anything under our control?
hope you are doing well and keep on doing well forever.

TnT, I don't have puffiness under my eyes, but Lord, do I ever have the dark circles. Doctor told me it is a combination of nutrition & just plain ole lack of sleep.
One of my regular customers called me "Raccoon Eyes" and that is exactly what it looks like at times! Sometimes its worse than others!
God Bless,

thank you for your response lmunchkin.
i'm sorry you are having to deal with the circles. i find the under eye puffiness so frustrating. i used to have a decent face/eyes. and now this condition is effing everything up. i seriously want to break something sometimes.
hope you are doing well and keep on doing well forever.

Well in my case, TNT, alot of it is just plain ole getting old, ya know? When I was younger, I was obsessed with getting a Tan, but that could have ruined my skin tone on my face. But mainly, age, lack of sleep & Life in general, is what I attribute it to. It really isnt a big deal to me. Just wish they werent there.
Hope your puffiness goes down too, TnT. Bet you still have a "Decent" face, no matter what!!!!!
God Bless,
lmunchkin :kickstart;

The biggest issue could be the lack of protie in. In us older folks, the age contributes too, but for kidney failure folks, the lack of protein can cause a bunch if issues. Grumpy
