So I started PD a few weeks ago, everything going great....much to my dismay - a huge blood clot when I peed. This has never happened to me before...does this happen? This is kind of a scary thing for a man to see...thanks.

That's not something I've seen, at least not yet. I'd get hold of my Neph and let them know what's going on. This sounds like something you should bring them in on.
Let us know how it all gets resolved.

I would get in touch with your nurse like Joe said. Any thing that you think is not the norm they need to know.

My transplanted kidney is failing quickly due to stopping immunosuppression. I regularly have tissue passing. I had one or two clots pass, but not in some time.
Contact your Nephrologist. I'd go so far as to call ASAP even if after hours.

I've had about every test known....CT Scan - and even the very uncomfortable video camera put in places is shouldn't - the searched my bladder...everything ok. They can't figure out why I passed a blood clot.

My dad passed a blood clot a few years ago.. for him, it turned out to be an issue with his prostate, so it might not be kidney/dialysis related. I'd talk to your doctor asap
