How true is it that if you stop certain food for sometime, and then you eat it once again it will cause you digestive problems?
I have tried to eat a very healthy diet for the last 6 months. Havent even taken an ice cream or such. Eliminated glutten, and after growing tired of eggs I decided to stop them.
Lentils are another example! In the past before getting on dialysis I used to like them a lot, and they were a fundamental part of my diet. Now, I ate a lentils dish last week and for a moment I thought I had got gastroenteritis.
Whenever I eat eggs also, I get some mild reflux. Anyone experiencing such things? Please help me because these digestive issues are difficult to bear with :( moreover I believe the peritoneal fluid stresses my digestive system.

Well, I don't know whether it holds true for healthy foods but I do know that once I stopped eating junk (like fast food) and then tried to eat it again it wreaked merry havoc on my system. I certainly can't go back to eating crap anymore but I don't think it has anything to do with dialysis.
I think increasing reflux is also a complication of age; I could eat a pizza right before bed in my 20s but if I tried that now I'd regret it the rest of my days. You're only 22, though, so I doubt it's that.
All that being said, PD is a different animal altogether. I could certainly see beans of any kind causing problems if you have PD solution dwelling and I'd think reflux would be common for the same reason. I do hope you get a more helpful answer than mine from some of our PD people.

Yes, Yes Yes, I do thing there is a problem with reflux and PD. I am experiencing it now. My reflux has been so bad since I started PD and no matter what I eat, it seems as if it want to come up. I think but dont know that the extra fluid put in your cavity pushes against other organs which causes a heap of problems. I had my monthly PD appt yesterday and explained this with my doctor and now I am dry during the day, Yeah. I just had my first breakfast on an empty stomach, cant wait to see how i feel in a couple of hours. The Prilosec helps a lot, beans are gassy foods, so if you eat them, they will not only give you gas, but make you feel as if the contents of your stomach is in your throat. Good luck on trying to sort this.
