I'm probably the first one on here whose center wants to keep my fistula thrilling post tx for at least 2 years. My surgeon and I both agree. My question is does anyone know if they need to do anything to it if insurance will pay for the work? Also I'm getting autrasounds on it every now and then to make sure it's not about to clot. Anyone had experience with this and knows if insurance will cover?

I'm not aware of anyone on here who has a tx center that wants to do anything to the fistula if there is no problem with it. My tx center hasn't even mentioned it.
I don't know why insurance wouldn't cover work on a fistula if that work is needed.
I'd recommend that you call your insurance carrier and ask the questions you posted here.
