anyone here name their access? I named mine betty because she is cranky and if you don't treat her the way she wants she gets mad, like an old woman, no offense of course, but that's why I named her betty.
-
LOL! Nope, didn't name mine. Maybe naming body parts is more of a guy thing? :rofl;
-
My daughter named my PD cath and joked about it until I told her to knock it off :Kit n Stik; I only mention it to bring to light it's not just a guy thing.
-
Yeah...I call my catheter "Cathy". And what a pain she is, too!
-
I simply refer to mine as "The Pony", as in "I'm off to ride the pony today!" Simple, but effective. :rant;
-
ugly B****** comes to mind!

the only relative thing i can say is my son likens my dialysis sessions to mechanics.
im not going for dialysis , im going for an oil change lol .
if i dont go , i'll break down and need a replacement part sooner .
when it works well , im flying .
maybe i should call my access herbie lol

Nope, but hubby is a home hemo patient and the Gambro AK95 that we use is named Hal - because it is smarter than we are some nights and has a mind of its own.
