Last night at the end of my dialysis, the fistula bled all over my chair, my shirt, and my arm. The nurse said the two holes were close together, but that didn't cause the bleeding. I have to wonder why I bled so much? I usually bleed, but not like an oil well.

There are 2 reasons i could think off.
1. Was the needles near thin skin??
2. Could be narrowing in the fistula causing back pressure.
-
Could be too much Tinzaparin or Heparin too?

That's scary. I hope you're ok, Whamo :cuddle;

Thanks, I'm okay. I forgot my meds the other night, and my BP was high. It took almost a half-hour to get off the machine. It didn't spike up that high, though, and it went down after I took my meds.

I'm glad you're ok. I had a scare recently too, they're not fun.
