Title: Permacath keeps clotting

I'm an om 3rd permacath and about to get 4th and to start on Coumadin. They tried activase but just for 30 minutes is there not anything else to try to declot so I dont have to get another one

You should get a fistula if possible.  I had a perma-cath in for almost a whole year and the used to flush it hard like a plunger in a toilet and it use to make my heart flutter.  They really are pain besides the high chance of infection.
