Title: Outpatient and starting D

Thursday is the Fistulagram and he wants me to start Dialysis next week. School is just starting this week....they are not gonna be happy with this. Started swelling today. Haven't done that since the beginning when I first got sick.
A little scared but I won't let this beat me.

Of course you are a little scared. I am too, but everybody tells me, its not so bad. Stiff upper lip!!!

Thank you. I will try to come on tomorrow after the outpatient thingy. Brain is mushy, school work is suffering already. ugh. Again thank you  :flower;

Doctor wants to wait due to the severe bruising on my arm from the surgery. Plus I haven't been nauseous since the surgery. Good news for a week...finally!

Well as of Monday I will be on dialysis. My first appt s set for 5 pm.

I know it can be scary to start D for the first time. Lots of prayers are sent your way so keep your chin up & I hope your nurses help ease you into D. Trust me it gets easier over time.

Good luck my girl, do you have a spray,or cream to numb the insertion pain a bit?

I am right behind you.  My creatinine went up to 4.9 and I will be on D soon.  Not happy
