Title: not putting on weight
Post by: balapandian on August 09, 2012, 12:10:10 AM
I'm on 2nd month of dialysis(weekly thrice)  I'm eating eggs, chicken and fish.  but my dry weight 105 pounds always remains the same.  why am I not putting weight as I'm eating lot everyday? where it goes?

Also, I feel tired all the time (Hb = 9 and currently on iron therapy)

Please share your experiences

I take iron sucrose and erthyropoeitin to boost my Hb
I'm tall 5' 10" so look very thin in 105 pounds

Talk to your dietian on what to eat.   For me she told me to make and extra sandwhich a day to eat to maintain my weight.
